  1. HB 745 Relating to the installation of solar-powered stop signs by a property owners’ association.

Synopsis: HB 745 amends section 430.002 of the Texas Transportation Code to include “(b) A property owners ’ association may install a speed feedback sign or a solar-powered light-emitting diode (LED) stop sign on a road, highway, or street in the association’s jurisdiction if:…”

  1. HB 2633 Relating to the release of information regarding motor vehicle accidents.

Synopsis: CSHB 2633 prohibits governmental entities from releasing motor vehicle accident reports to persons who had no connection to the accident. Under the bill, the information should be released only to governmental agencies, courts, or persons directly concerned in the accident. The bill also requires governmental entities to create redacted accident reports that could be provided to any person upon request and payment of the required fee
