Lege leaders address transportation finance; TTI research examines the options

Posted on August 6, 2015

DSCF9434The West Texas Legislative Summit took place yesterday in San Angelo, TX. San Angelo Standard Times writes, Leaders told that roads pave future, a story that explains why transportation was a hot topic at the summit.

Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) research scientist and program manager, David Ellis, was in attendance and helped outline the potential repercussions of not funding crucial infrastructure.

The job of building and maintaining the state’s transportation infrastructure carries a very big cost, and TTI’s Transportation Policy Research Center research aspires to help inform the policy decisions. See our page for completed and in-progress transportation finance research.
